French Table at Maurice Villien Museum

Whether you are trying to learn conversational French or would like to brush-up on your French, all levels are invited to join the Maurice Villien Museum the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Table begins at 10 am. 

We offer tours of the Vermilion Parish marshes where you can view native wildlife and vegetation. 1/2 day and full day guides available. We alo offer guided fishing and hunting packages. Call for rates and tour availability.

Annual Church Sit-in Service

All are invited to attend the annual service led by Pastor Wayne Landry. Service begins at 9 am.

 

Coffee & Music at Le Musee

Held the last Saturday of the month from March to November. Enjoy a cup of coffee, doughnuts, cracklins and boudin while listening to music by local musicians. 9:30-11 am

 

 

Le Bayou Legendaire Fall Concert: Annual Christmas Blues on the Bayou

Enjoy a blues concert by Michael Juan Nunez and the American Electric with special guest Michael Doucet of Beausoleil, in a smoke-free, unique amphitheater setting. This annual Christmas Blues on the Bayou Concert is a favorite among locals and is sure to sell out. Doors open at 6 pm with music starting at 7 pm. Tickets available at Robie's Food Center, Piazza Office Supply and through the website.

Krewe of Palmetto Golf Cart Parade

Join the Krewe of Palmetto for Mardi Gras in the Park Golf Cart Parade! Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the parade of carts decorated for Mardi Gras. Parade rolls at 3pm and will go through the campground 2 times. This year's theme is "Chicken on the Run"

Park golf cart rules apply - license driver and proof of liability insurance is mandatory. Golf cart line-up, decorating, photos and the Coronation of King Cake and Queen Moon Pie will take place at campsite #36 at 2 pm.
