Sounds on the Square Spring Series: The Fifth Edition

Join us under the beautiful Magdalen Square Oaks for an evening of music by The Fifth Edition. Refreshments will be sold to benefit "Save the Franks". Bring your lawn chairs and blankets! 5:30-8:30 pm.

Located in the Jay Guidry Rodeo Arena, this live music venue features concerts by local and regional acts held several times a year.

Abbeville's Giant Omelette Celebration

Juried arts show, egg games, great Cajun food, French immersion students' performance, Cajun music and more! Sunday Mass in French and English and the cooking of the over 5,000 egg omelette in a 12 foot skillet over a wood burning fire on Sunday afternoon. Sat., 9 am-5 pm; Sun., 9 am-4:30 pm.

Gueydan Duck Festival

A festival celebrating the history of the best known secret in Louisiana - Gueydan, the "Duck Capital of America" Join us for duck calling contests, skeet shooting contests, queen's pageant, cooking contests, live music, parade, food, carnival and more. Thurs., 5-10pm; Fri., 5pm-midnight; Sat., 8am-midnight; Sun., 8am-3pm.
