Join the Latanier Cookers for a Dutch Oven cooking demonstrations, interacting with the cooks and taste testing of the dishes when done. 9am-noon, with tasting around noon (11am June-Aug). Covered dishes and ice chests are welcome, no pets allowed. Bring your chaird and drinks!

The Vermilion Arts Council will be featuring local artists along Concorde St with music and food while student art will be featured inside Magdalen Square. Come view and purchase art from our talented artist! 1-4 pm.
Capt. Troy Nash is available for fishing charters for light tackle and saltwater fly fishing trips for Redfish, Flounder and Speckled Trout out of Intracoastal City into the Vermilion Bay. Charters are also available near Cypremort Point and Marsh Island and inshore fishing charters on Calcasieu Lake. Call to schedule a trip!
Disguised in traditional hadmade Mardi Gras costumes, Lache Pas Rene Rost will reenact the running of a Cajun ancestral Courrier de Mardi Gras. Students will visit businesses along the Boulevard as they "beg" for non-perishable food in exchange for a song and dance. Food items will be donated to the Kaplan Foon Bank. Locals are invite to be spectators! 9:30-11:30 am.

The day will begin at 9:30am with a stump service lead by Abbeville City Councilman Carlton Campbell then followed by the MLK Celebration Program from 11am-2pm.
